DESIGN PHILOSOPHY AND WELCOME

      Hello! Thank you for viewing my portfolio profile!

     I am a recent graduate from Anderson University in South Carolina. I believe, as an aspiring designer, that all interiors should include functionality, comfort, safety, sustainable aspects, universal attributes, and be aesthetically pleasing. My goals as a future designer are to develop creative solutions and personal flare that enable me to produce uniquely beautiful spaces that will benefit the clients’ well-being. Personal flare, for my design work, often includes intricate details within the sixth plane, bold color statements, and integration of matching patterns and color schemes. Ultimately, I want to ensure to incorporate the wants and needs of clientele, pay attention to detail, and adhere to business codes and regulations.

      My goal is to obtain an entry position as a junior interior designer, within the Columbia, South Carolina area. With all my skills learned in class and my previous summer internship experience, I believe that I am capable of working in a full-time design position. I favor commercial design, especially working in the hospitality, education, and business typologies.

​

      My portfolio includes student project examples in commercial design, building codes and systems, residential design, manual graphics, and photography. I am proficient in the following computer programs: Autodesk 2016, 2017, and 2018: AutoCAD, AutoCAD Architecture, Revit; Sketch-Up 2015 and 2016, Adobe Creative Suite 2016: Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat; Microsoft Office 2016:  Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher; and 2020 Design Software: CAP, Worksheet, Visual Impressions; along with Conceptual Design, Hand Drafting and Rendering.
